Perches
We have all seen, and probably used dowel perches. They are made of wood, are perfectly round, are warm and comfortable, and lets face it, they came with our bird cage. There is nothing wrong with dowel perches but with so many other options, why stick with just one kind?
There is an endless variety of perches available for our birds, so pick three or four, or more different types to put in your bird's cage. We have grooming perches, edible perches, natural branch perches including manzanita, cholla, cajeput and other safe woods. Rope perches are also fun and functional just be sure to trim any loose threads.
