Roudybush Handfeeding Formula III - 5 lb
Use as a handfeeding formula for all species of psittacines (parrots) from day one to weaning. Do not give additional vitamin or mineral supplements.
Just a personal note, I personally used this formula with good results when raising parrotlet chicks.
Mixing tips:
- Follow instructions and mix by weight not volume. Meaning you should weigh the formula and the water to determne the proper amount to mix.
- Mix at a temperature slightly hotter than feeding temperature. If the water is too hot it tends to make the formula sticky.
- Mix with a fork instead of a spoon.
- Once it is mixed it tends to stay together better than other formulas that separate.
